CROCKETT (CBS SF) – Carquinez Middle School students are getting a valuable lesson in the art of giving through their Public Service Club. In addition to the signs, the club makes blankets and scarves to drop off at Children’s Hospital and senior centers.
This group is proving every day that spreading a little happiness is as easy as telling someone to have a nice day.

Some say “Honk if you’re happy” or “Have a great day.” They’re small gestures that go a long way. Earlier this year, the students delivered a blanket to a librarian at a nearby school who lost her home in a fire.
