Same type of level as World 5-1, but this time you'll be facing off with a Big Paragoomba at the end. Secret Exit - After you recruit a Boo, you'll have the skill to transform Heart orbs into Dark orbs. Another level filled with Wood type enemies, but this time you can only use Fire, Wood, and Dark orbs. Enemies are even tougher here, so make sure you are powering up and transforming all the team members you plan to use. Luckily, the only orbs you'll find here are the Fire, Light, and Dark orbs, so plan accordingly.
Make sure to come prepared with your Light based team, along with Water type enemies as they are also effective against Dark types. Play through the level and wait for the Curse skill to become available before you reach the branching path.
Make sure to load up on Light type team members, but you also want a Dark type to help you fight Boom Boom at the end. The difficulty is starting to ramp up here, so make sure to stop by World 5-4 for some Coin Coffers if you need to give some of your team members a boost in their level. Keep focusing on getting those combos as you'll be facing a number of Fire type enemies here. You'll have to survive and rely on those combos to defeat enemies before they have chance to strike back! The Wigglers have a high defense and can deal quite a bit of damage, so especially watch out for this as you fight the boss! The Boomerang Bro at the end will deal higher amounts of damage, but taking it down is nothing you haven't done before.
Once there, activate the skill and match three Dark orbs to activate the hidden block in the center of the screen.
He is just like a Boo, but he has a very powerful King's Spite attack that will do massive amounts of damage.
